A hearty family favorite with bold chili flavor and none of the heat!
Heat the olive oil in a large pot or dutch oven.
Saute the peppers and onions until soft.
Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
Add the chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt and black pepper - stir until well combined.
Add the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, kidney beans and pinto beans.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 25-20 minutes.
Remove from heat and allow chili to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
