Valentine’s Day sneaks up on me most years. The meaning of the day has changed so drastically over ten years of marriage and four kids – although I’d love to say that I still spend weeks planning romantic surprises and perfect gifts for my husband, the truth is that my very fist reminder of the impending holiday is usually a note from one of the boys teachers requesting snacks for a classroom party.
Even though the holiday now revolves a little more around family time and classroom valentines, I still try to find a way to remind my husband of the special place he holds in my heart. These mini love notes are perfect for the occasion. You can download, print and hide them around the house to brighten your Someone Special’s day in no time! These six little notes offer sweet reminders on even the busiest day. They’re small enough to tuck into wallets, pockets, between the pages of a favorite book, car visors or coffee mugs (unless you’re like me – absolutely not functional without coffee – because I definitely pour before I look!).
Now somewhere in between making these fun, candy-free Wild About You Classroom Valentines and planning a family friendly Valentine’s Day dinner I can print off these notes and hide them where I know my husband will stumble across them throughout his day, or spread them out over the week leading up to Valentine’s Day.
In the meantime, I’m in some serious need of suggestions for celebrating Valentine’s Day with the kids – so drop me some suggestions in the comments for kid-friendly fun!
