It’s November here, which means Christmas magic prep is in full swing in the Bear Hugs house! Of course Christmas magic looks suspiciously like an exhausted mom hunched over a computer with a tray of leftover brownies and a glass of wine – very glamorous honestly.
As you might have guessed by now, most of my free printables start out with a specific need for my own kids. Whether it’s Reading BINGO, lunch box notes or letters from Santa – when I need to add a personal touch to holidays (or any day) I start cranking out printables!

This Printable Invitation From The North Pole is something I’ve used for a couple of years with my boys, and I’ve finally come up with a version I love enough to share here.
Each year we schedule Santa photos pretty early in November so that we can include the photos on our Christmas cards. Because I’m fortunate enough that even my oldest boys still believe in Santa, and I know that I won’t have much longer until my middle schooler stops believing, I have jumped through hoops the last two years to add as much magic into Christmas as possible.
We pull out all the stops when it comes to Christmas magic – from the Elf On The Shelf (and this year Reindeer In Here) to the distant sound of sleigh bells on Christmas Eve – it all starts with our Santa photos.

One magical November morning the boys stumble out of bed to find an invitation and letter (usually reminding them to finish their Christmas Lists and clean their room so that their elf doesn’t get lost!). This year I hung candy canes from the ceiling (using painters tape to avoid leaving marks! I covered tape up with Christmas bows!) and created a candy cane maze.
At the end of the hallway I left a box with new Christmas pajamas and this printable North Pole Invitation. I did this on a day off from school – possibly a mistake since their Christmas meters must have gone off enough to prompt them to wake up at dawn with all the excitement of Christmas mornings – but it was worth a little lost sleep to see!

This North Pole Invitation can be great for Santa Photos, Santa Experiences, Brunch with Santa or a Polar Express ride! Just download below and print (I prefer to print this as a 4X6 or 5X7 so that I can fit it into an envelope).
