When I was a child Advent Calendars only came in one variety – the chocolate kind purchased at the grocery store. You can still find simple chocolate advent calendars at the supermarket – but I have to admit, I kind of love being able to skip the sugar and get my kids excited about fun toys, collectibles and books each December morning!

Step 2 My First Advent Calendar
